The WPS system offers several ways to identify a parking car, including automatic detection of the license plate. For an upcoming release, support for a new camera model needed to be added. This camera enables faster and better license plate identification. The API for this camera is a C library, whereas the WPS system is implemented entirely in Java. WPS was in need of a quick solution without compromising their main development. They decided to outsource this integration.
Sioux was responsible for the development of the body controller and the instrument panel, which was needed to meet all of the class-leading and specific criteria set down by TVR and Gordon Murray. Sioux also took care of the software applications for both components, the implementation, testing and the vehicle’s entire wiring harness.
Sioux finalized the new board computer software, the development of the telematics platform additions and the mobile applications for Android and iOS, enabling end customers to very easily and reliably analyze the health of their vehicle(s).
